One Day at a Time

The world spins round and round and round,
And I’m just trying to keep my feet on the ground.
But it’s hard, when all I feel is stress,
And I don’t know which way to turn next.

I’ve got bills to pay, and work to do,
And a family to take care of too.
But it’s all just too much,
And I don’t know how much longer I can take it.

I’m tired, and I’m stressed,
And I just want to scream.
But I know that won’t help anything,
So I just keep on going,
One day at a time.

I hope that one day,
Things will get better.
But until then,
I’ll just keep on trying to stay afloat.

I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this up,
But I’m going to do my best.
Because I know that I have to,
For my family, and for myself.

So I just keep on going,
One day at a time.
