Turn Away From Poisoned Ground

Friendship’s threads, once strong and bright,
Can fray and tangle in the night.
Misunderstanding’s shadow falls,
Neglect’s cold touch, the bond enthralls.

No single villain takes the blame,
Two souls drift apart, a silent shame.
Subtle currents, unspoken truth,
Carry them away, from golden youth.

One friend may falter, stumble, stray,
Loyalty and trust, they disobey.
Words unspoken, secrets kept,
Confidence betrayed, the wound is wept.

Hearts grow distant, walls ascend,
A silent dance, where sorrows blend.
The other friend, they play a part,
Neglect and coldness, harden the heart.

Resentment’s seed, in darkness grows,
Unspoken grievances, no one knows.
Apologies may not suffice,
The damage deep, a heavy price.

Turn away from poisoned ground,
Seek connections, where joy is found.
True friendship needs respect and care,
Empathy’s warmth, a love to share.

If grace and warmth have disappeared,
Acknowledge the truth, do not be feared.
Create space for friendships new,
Honor your worth, in all you do.

You deserve connections, pure and bright,
Uplifting your soul, with all their might.
Recognize the end, with open eyes,
New beginnings wait, beneath the skies.

Fake Friends

I wish people were honest with me. If you don’t like me or have a problem with me just say it. Cause this, acting like I am like a sister to you and then turning on me is such a waste of time. I would rather spend my free time with those I care about and those who actually care about it.

Fake Friends

In shallow laughter’s fleeting sway,
I lost precious moments, secrets astray.
Surrounded by smiles, a false display,
I thought I’d found friendship, come what may.

Time’s relentless river, swift and wide,
Washed away those bonds, a fading tide.
Empty promises echoed, a hollow guide,
Revealing the truth, I could no longer hide.

With eyes now open, illusions depart,
I see the true gems, a change of heart.
My family, my friends, a love that won’t start,
Had waited for me, from the very start.

Regret’s sharp sting, a lesson I’ve learned,
True love’s bond, where loyalty is earned.
No more wasted moments, a new page turned,
My heart seeks connection, a lesson discerned.

For my family, by blood or by choice,
Deserve every beat, every word, every voice.
In their warmth and embrace, I rejoice,
A love that knows no bounds, I’ll always voice.

In this sacred space, where love’s light gleams,
I’ll savor each moment, like sweet summer dreams.
Forever grateful, for love’s gentle beams,
A love that never wavered, so it seems.
