I feel like a bother,
Nothing I ever say matters.
I’m just a burden,
A weight on everyone’s shoulders.

I try to stay quiet,
To not make a sound,
But it’s hard to be invisible,
When I’m always around.

I want to be heard,
I want to be seen,
But I’m afraid that if I speak up,
I’ll just be a nuisance.

So I stay silent,
I keep my thoughts to myself,
And I try to be invisible,
Even though I know I’m not.

I’m just a bother,
