The Mirror’s Truth

I know I am not good enough,
I do not need others telling me that.
I know my flaws and shortcomings,
I see them every day in the mirror.

But I am also aware of my strengths,
Of the things I am good at.
I know that I can achieve great things,
If I just believe in myself.

So I will not let others’ words
Defeat me or make me feel worthless.
I will not let them define me,
Or tell me who I am.

I am my own person,
With my own unique journey to walk.
I will not let anyone else
Stand in my way.

I will keep moving forward,
Even when it is hard.
I will keep believing in myself,
Even when others don’t.

Because I know that I am good enough,
Even if they don’t.

A life of love and compassion,
A life of peace and harmony.

So go forth and embrace this new day,
With open arms and a positive attitude.
Make the most of every moment,
And live your life to the fullest.

The world is yours for the taking,
So go out and conquer it.
You are capable of anything you set your mind to,
So don’t let anything stand in your way.

This is your day,
So make it count.
